ANM / CHO / MLHP Tablet FAQs
How to login to the tablet application?

Answer:

Click on the NCD GOI logo on the tablet screen. For first-login: Internet is required. The first login requires state, username, password etc. The username here will be the ANM ID. The password for the first time login is the registered mobile number as per RCH ID. Enter these details. After this enter the numbers in the text box which are present next to the number and press login. You are expected to change your password after the first-login. Enter the 6-digit OTP sent for verification. After this, reset your password and press login. After clicking login, you will need to enter a 4-digit authentication pin. For second time logins, the state field and ANM ID will be auto-populated.

What is user name?

Answer:

Every individual using this application in the tablet is a user and it is unique to every user. It is mostly identified by your name and the place you work. The user name is also known as ANM ID.

What if tab is not registered for this user?

Answer:

Every tab is matched with a single user. This situation happens when the user has logged in previously in some other tablet or the particular tablet has been previously used by some other user. In such a scenario the tab ID needs to be updated from the Admin portal. The tab ID is a unique alphanumeric ID which can be viewed by pressing the blue dot icon on the right bottom of the login page.

What if Username or Password does not match?

Answer:

In case you have not entered the details properly, you will see a pop up. Please enter your username and password correctly or else click on 'Reset Password'.

How to reset Password?

Answer:

Please click on the reset password button, enter the 6-digit OTP to initiate the process to reset the password.

How to reset Pin?

Answer:

Please click on the reset pin button and ANM can enter her registered mobile number and reset the password.

What to do when OTP is not received?

Answer:

Only in the case of first time login or reset password, ANM/MLHP will be prompted to verify using an OTP. In case OTP is not received, please close and reopen the app and ensure signal is available on your registered mobile number. OTP can be generated through the District Admin Portal. Even after this if OTP is not received please contact the Technical team.

What if app shows "App not responding"?

Answer:

Please close and reopen the application. If problem persists, register a complaint with the Technical Team. Basic troubleshooting: Go to SETTINGS → SECURITY AND LOCATION → PRIVACY → Turn LOCATION ON (HIGH ACCURACY). Go to APPS AND NOTIFICATION → NCD GOI → DATA USAGE → Activate UNRESTRICTED DATA USAGE.

Villages not showing or not related to me?

Answer:

ANM cannot make changes to the villages. She must firstly inform her district team which will update the villages in the admin portal. If issue still persists, register complaint to the Technical team via Redmine ticket.

How to upgrade the app to the latest version?

Answer:

In the login page above the user name app version can be viewed. There will be a button next to the existing version to upgrade Version. ANM must click on it and upgrade it to new version. ANM must ensure that internet connectivity is available at the time of version upgradation.

What if Sync fails?

Answer:

Sync fails due to poor internet connectivity, ANM not switching on the internet data in her tablet or the server fails. ANM must sync again after addressing these concerns.

If Sync stopped at midway, will I lose my data?

Answer:

Whatever data is synced till the sync stops midway will get saved in the server. The data will not be lost. ANM can re-sync the tablet the remaining data will get synced.

What is the use of dashboard?

Answer:

Dashboard helps ANM to view her achievement against target. It helps ANM see disease wise full screening, partial screening, referred cases, under treatment cases. On clicking the number ANM can view the list of individuals screened.

Do the ANMs need to maintain both the register and fill data in the tablet? Will not our workload increase?

Answer:

ASHA will fill the family folder and maintain the record in CBAC. While ANM enter the record, and maintain it in tablet. This will not increase the workload for ANM.

Will the data pushed into tablet be safe?

Answer:

Yes, lot of measures taken to protect the data. Once the data is synced the data will be safe.

What if data gets wiped out and no registers are maintained?

Answer:

All data will be stored in the central server, if the data is synced.

Will the ANMOL and NCD tablets be one or different?

Answer:

Tablet will be one and multiple apps can be used in the same tablet.

What is the difference between ASHA format and Add New Family?

Answer:

ASHA format is same which is currently used in the field. While add new family has most of the information plus some clinical information related to the individual.

Will ANMs and ASHA get incentive for NCD screenings?

Answer:

Incentives will be governed as per the government policy. In the tablet "Incentive Earned" page, ANM can see the percentage of work done on each category.

Why not tablets be given to ASHA to complete CBAC form?

Answer:

Issuance of tablet is as per the government policy. Tablets are currently given to ANMs. The ASHA application is getting launched soon & the govt will procure Android Mobile Phone for them.

ANMs and ASHAs are already overworked, how will they manage NCD program?

Answer:

NCD application will reduce the work load, solution has factored in the ease of usage for ANM.

Do we need internet connectivity required for the application?

Answer:

Internet connectivity is required only for first time login, while syncing the app and while updating the application. ANM can use the application without any internet connection for entering the data.

What if the device gets damaged or lost?

Answer:

The answer will be given by the district officials or state officials when the tablets are distributed and receiving for the same are signed by ANMs.

What if the patient is not bringing their ID?

Answer:

ID is not mandatory for either enrolment or patient or searching a patient.

What if ASHA has puts wrong ID?

Answer:

ANM while entering the data in the tablet can cross check with ASHA or ANM before entering the ID. If ANM has by mistake entered the wrong ID, ANM can search the individual and update the ID in individual's profile.

Can I get data for RCH enrolment?

Answer:

Yes, for women in reproductive age group.


MO Portal FAQs
Is internet required for MO Portal?

Answer:

Yes, Internet is required for MO portal.

If MO has many patients to screen, how to enter data. Whether in presence of patient or later?

Answer:

During this scenario, MO can record the findings in the register and later MO or DEO can enter in the portal in the evening.

What if electricity is not there?

Answer:

Use the power back up (UPS or generator) till it works, internet connection will also be required. Else record the findings in the register and MO or DEO can enter in the portal when electricity resumes.

How can I see SC performance?

Answer:

MO after logging in the portal in the top of the landing page can see the dashboard. Dashboard will comprise of the ANM referred cases disease wise.

What needs to be done if medicine is not available?

Answer:

MO will continue screening and initiate the treatment. If alternate medicine is available MO can prescribe the same.

What if lab test not available in my facility?

Answer:

MO can suggest the patient to get the test done from other facility.

What if person from different PHC comes to my PHC?

Answer:

MO can enrol the individual and give medications.

What if I can't find a person in my system, how can I screen the patient?

Answer:

MO can enrol the individual and give medications.

What if the patient is not bringing their ID?

Answer:

MO can still treat the patient without any ID. ID is not mandatory even for enrolment.

Can I Skip the protocol and do screening?

Answer:

Yes, MO can skip protocol and do the screening.

How do I use the MO dashboard?

Answer:

MO after logging in the portal in the top of the landing page can see the dashboard. Dashboard will comprise of screened cases, ANM referred cases, back referral, diagnosed, on treatment, referred to CHC/DH, diabetes, hypertension (controlled), lost to follow up by ANM and MO.
